Event Description

2nd Annual Digital Payments Summit – Driving Digital Payments Post Pandemic

Post demonetization, the government and central bank have announced various measures to foster the growth of digital transactions in India and they are indeed substantially growing in India and could be worth up to $1 trillion per year by 2025 according to a survey. Every company ranging from an e-commerce player to a cab hailing app is conceiving its own currency, adding more dimensions to this ever-evolving digital ecosystem. While the convenience of online payments can't be negated, we seem to be prioritizing ease over security. This staggering volume of money being transacted online is a mouth-watering proposition for cyber thieves who are on the prowl for a single glitch that will let them penetrate the framework. Be that as it may the underlying question remains the same as to how secure digital transactions are. Do we have requisite infrastructure in place to protect ourselves from digital payment frauds? Or more importantly, has the consumer in our country evolved enough to protect themselves from such perpetrators?
Such questions will be answered at our 2nd Annual Digital Payments Summit - Driving Digital Payments post Pandemic scheduled on September 4th 2020 along with payment technology, mobile payments etc.
