Description

Achromic Point seeks your participation for upcoming seminar on “Transfer Pricing & International Tax 2017 – New Challenges & Revolutionary Changes” in the city of Bengaluru on 24th January, 2017.

As the global economy expands into every corner of the world, many national fiscal authorities are seeking more effective ways to protect their tax bases. In an era of fiscal shortfalls, tax authorities see transfer pricing as a soft target, and more and more countries are introducing law for transfer pricing.

The OECD/G20 Base Erosion Profit Shifting (BEPS) project represents a fundamental change in the global tax environment and, in particular, to the taxation of cross-border profits.

Transfer Pricing of such cross border transactions can have a significant impact on distribution of profits among countries and consequently on the tax base of the relevant tax jurisdictions. On one hand, enterprises are exploring area level synergies, cost reductions, enhanced competitiveness, improved market penetration and product leadership and on the other hand the Tax Authorities across nations are becoming increasingly sophisticated with respect to transfer pricing audits.

This one day seminar, which would address the recent transfer pricing developments in India as well globally and assist the participants to identify the key aspects which needs to be addressed by the corporates while developing a global transfer pricing risk strategy, keeping in view the ever evolving aspects and interpretation of Transfer Pricing provisions by various appellate forums and courts.
